JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the directing the respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017 requesting for retaining of 63 ares of land in Survey No.364/1, Chinnapattakadu Village, Ariyalur Taluk in the patta issued to him in Patta No.2486.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2017, which was received by the respondent on 17.04.2017, the respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2017, which was received by the respondent on 17.04.2017, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
