The issue involved in this writ petition is as to whether the National Highways Authority of India can take possession of plot no.56 situate in village Bahadurpur, Pargana Afzalgarh, Tehsil Dhampur, District Bijnor without acquisition or payment of compensation.
Sri Devendra Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the National Highways Authority of India states that possession of the land will not be taken unless the matter is settled by the negotiation or the land is acquired.
Thus, at this stage no direction is required to be issued. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents.
