JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate in Crime No.665 of 2012 on the file of the respondent in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was filed in the year 2012 and the petitioner approached the respondent on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.
4. Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2012 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.665 of 2012 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
