The petitioner has retired on 30.4.2006 as Senior Cane Inspector. He contends that his post retiral benefit has not been correctly calculated in accordance with the relevant pay scale.

Let the claim of the petitioner be examined by the respondent no.2 who shall proceed to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him. In case the petitioner is found entitled for payment the same shall be made to the petitioner forthwith without any further delay.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
