JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) THURSDAY, THE SEVENTH DAY OF AUGUST TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 21812 of 2014 BETWEEN Dudekula Hassan and others AND ... PETITIONERS The State of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. by its Principal Secretary (Department of Revenue), A.P. Secretariat Building, Hyderabad and others.
...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. Petitioners have filed the present writ petition alleging that no complaint was pending against any of them nor they were accused of any crime, but respondent No.3-police was repeatedly calling them to the police station and harassing them.
3. Learned Government Pleader, who was required to get instructions, submits that Piduguralla police station, Guntur, received a complaint from respondent No.3, which was registered as Crime No.157 of 2014 under missing woman’s case on 01.08.2014 and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation, it was found that one SK.Chand Basha, who appears to be the son of petitioner No.1, was found to be the suspect and, as such, for the purpose of recording the statements of the petitioners, their presence was required. It is stated that on 03.08.2014 the missing woman along with the suspect appeared before the Station House Officer of the aforesaid police station and informed that on 28.04.2013, the missing woman stated to have married the suspect at Hyderabad without consent of both the elders and she further stated that none are responsible for their temporary disappearance. In view of that, since the missing woman is already traced and her statement is recorded, as above, the Station House Officer states that permission is sought for from S.D.P.O. to drop further action in the matter and for closer of pending F.I.R.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners also confirms that the petitioners and their son, who is the suspect, appeared before the police station and reiterated the statements.
5. In view of the instructions, aforesaid, nothing further survives for consideration in this writ petition.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
