JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader [Co-op], who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. D.KRISHNAKUMAR., J.

3.Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader, has produced a copy of letter No.ef/2510/2013/rg Co-operative Department dated 21.03.2017 issued by the Deputy Registrar, Chidambaram addressed, to The Regional Joint Registrar, Cuddalore, stating that the election notice issued on 03.10.2016 was cancelled, and submitted that nothing survives in the writ petition for adjudication. The said letter is taken on file and recorded.
2.In view of the aforesaid letter issued by the Deputy Registrar, Chidambaram, dated 21.03.2017, the writ petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
