JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation, dated 27.09.2011 preferred by the petitioner, seeking permission to run the orphanage/poor students hostel within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.M.E.Ilango, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3.According to the petitioner, he runs a Trust, which was established in 2001 with an objective of providing quality education to students of down trodden families and to provide education and hostel facilities for the child labours. The Trust is running a Primary School, High School, Teachers Training Institute and a College for Teaching Education. The director of Social Welfare by his proceedings dated 26.07.2005 recognized the orphanage and the same was run by the petitioner. While so, on 26.05.2011, the respondent sealed the orphanage premises. Hence, the petitioner sent the representations, dated 02.06.2011, 20.06.2011 and 27.09.2011 respectively, seeking permission to run the orphanage centre. Since no action was taken, the present Writ petition.
4.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the respondent officials having found deficiencies in the orphanage and sealed the same on 26.05.2011. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 02.06.2011 seeking permission to run the orphanage centre. The officials of the respondent further inspected the premises and found that the defects were not carried out by the petitioner and hence the representation was rejected by the respondent.
5. In view of the above submissions, I do not find any merit in the Writ petition and the same is dismissed. No costs.
