JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the provisional eligible list published by the second respondent on 15.05.2017 and seeking to quash the same and also to direct the second respondent to publish a fresh provisional eligible list for admission to the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Courses under NRI Quota in Self Financing Medical Colleges and Colleges under Deemed Universities in Tamil Nadu by taking into account the entire seats available under NRI Quota in the Self Financing Medical College and Colleges under Deemed Universities in Tamil Nadu and consequently permit the petitioner to participate in the counseling for admission to the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Courses as per the new provisional eligible list.

The case of the petitioner is that petitioner claiming herself as an NRI and that she is eligible to get admission to the Post Graduate Medical Courses under the Management category under the NRI quota has applied for the same, after fulfilling all the required parameters. However, her name did not find place in the provisional list for admission. Hence, the present Writ petition is filed seeking for the aforesaid relief.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
4. The petitioner had secured the required marks. However, her admission to the Post Graduate Course was rejected. At the stage of admission of this writ petition, as an interim measure , this Court by an order dated 19.05.2017 has directed the respondents keep one seat vacant in the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma courses under the NRI quota.
5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequently the petitioner has participated in the counseling and allotment order was issued on 29.05.2017 and required fees has also been paid.
6. In view of the same, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
