When the matters were taken up for hearing, it was submitted that as the suit could be disposed of within a short period, an order on merits is not necessary in these appeals. But the Respondents will furnish Bank Guarantee of Rs.25 Lakhs (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs only) instead of Rs.10 Lakhs, as directed by the lower court. 2. In the result, these appeals are disposed of as follows:
i) The Respondents shall furnish a Bank Guarantee for Rs.15 Lakhs more (in addition to the amount Rs.10 Lakhs for which guarantee has already been given) on or before 31.10.2014, failing which, the order of injunction originally passed by the lower court will come into effect.
ii) The lower court shall dispose of the suit on or before 19.12.2014. The disposal shall be made untrammelled by any of the observations made in the impugned order.
iii) Transmit the records to the lower court immediately.
