Petitioner's claim for reimbursement of medical bills appears to have been forwarded by the respondent no. 2 to the Commissioner Rural Development, U.P. on 9.9.2020. Grievance is that though sufficient time has expired but the competent authority has not taken final decision in the matter.
Dr. A.N. Singh, learned Standing Counsel states that the respondent no. 1 shall look into the matter and pass necessary orders, in accordance with law.
In view of the statement so made by the learned Standing Counsel, writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 1 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim recommended by respondent no. 2 on 9.9.2020, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of copy of this order. All consequential action shall be taken within a further period of four weeks.
