Heard the submission of Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Manishankar, Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent/contemnor.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent/contemnor would submit that vide proceedings dated 24.06.2017 in R.C.No.E2(3)/34/1574/2014, passed by the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai 7, in and by which Gun license is granted to the petitioner, subject to fulfillment of certain conditions. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings before this Court and the same is taken on file and recorded.
3. In the light of the said development, this Contempt Petition is closed.
