JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the Village Officer in accepting land tax. According to the petitioner, the land tax is not received on the ground that a civil suit is pending with reference to the property involved in the matter. 2. Apparently, pendency of the civil suit will not deprive the owner of the property to pay land tax for the property in question.
3. Learned Government Pleader also submits that if the petitioner approaches the first respondent the land tax will be received.
Under these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as under:
The first respondent shall receive land tax offered by the petitioner in respect of the property in question.
