JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to approve the petitioner's appointment as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in the Women's Christian College, Nagercoil.
2.Heard Mr.T.Pon Ramkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.
3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation dated 20.07.2017, made by the petitioner for the same relief has not yet been disposed by the concerned authority and the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the 1st respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and he has made an endorsement to that effect.
4.Recording the submission and endorsement so made, this Court, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the first respondent to consider the representation dated 20.07.2017, made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law and communicate such decision to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai on or before 31.12.2017.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
