Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Monika Arya, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents.
This Court by order dated 12.08.2021 directed the Standing Counsel to seek instruction in the matter as to the period within which amount of medical reimbursement shall be released to the petitioner.
Ms. Monika Arya, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents on instruction received from respondent no.2 submits that amount of medical reimbursement of the petitioner shall be released within two weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of in the view of the statement given by learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.
In case, the amount of medical reimbursement has not been released within two weeks, same shall carry simple interest @10% per annum from the date the amount due till the date of its payment.
