JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the parties.
With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, we are disposing of the writ petition finally.
Petitioners No. 1 to 3 who have been appointed on honorarium basis on the post of lecturer in B.Ed. for teaching B.Ed. course in J.S. Hindu Degree College. Under the Government order dated 07.04.1998 petitioners are being prevented to work after the end of academic session.
The controversy has already been settled in various cases by Hon'ble the Supreme Court of India including the cases of Ratan Lal and others vs. State of Haryana and others, (1985) 4 SCC 43 and Robinarain Mahapatra vs. State of Orrisa and others, (1991) 2 SCC 599, in which it has been held that such appointees are to be allowed till regularly selection candidates are available.
We, therefore, dispose of this petition with a direction that the petitioners shall be allowed to continue on his post of lecturer in their respective subjects till regularly selected candidate is available, subject to satisfaction of his work and conduct and the administrative control, which is being exercised on them, and shall be paid honorarium regularly. The arrears of honorarium, if any, which have not yet been paid, shall also be paid by the authority concerned within one month from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
