THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE R2 TO CONSIDER THE APPLICATION FILED BY THE PETITIONER DTD:1.12.2016 AS PER ANNEXURE-A AND TO PASS AN ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW AND ETC.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.Sachin B.S., learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri.Y.D.Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondent No.1.
Sri.O.Shivaram Bhat, learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
2. The petition is admitted for hearing. With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 01.12.2016 as per Annexure-A and to pass an order in accordance with law.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that suitable action, if not already taken on the application submitted by the petitioner, shall be taken in accordance with law by the competent authority by a speaking order within four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
