Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
It has been submitted by the petitioner that his representations dated 26.8.2019 and 5.10.2019 filed before the Director of Higher Education, Prayagraj (Allahabad) to provide one year notional increment with effect from 1.7.2018 to 30.6.2019 and to re-fix his pension accordingly is still pending and has not yet been decided.
Considering the circumstances of the case, the respondent no. 2, i.e the Director of Higher Education, Prayagraj (Allahabad) is directed to decide the aforesaid representations dated 26.8.2019 and 5.10.2019 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
It is clarified that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim as raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
