Heard Sri Arvind Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent no.1 and Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 2, 3 and 4.
The petitioner has preferred this petition so as to challenge the order of the Vice-Chancellor dated 29.01.2018 by which the representation of the petitioner has been rejected. The petitioner is also challenging the advertisement dated 06.12.2017 as corrected by advertisement dated 07.12.2017 insofar as relates to the advertisement of the post of Lecturer in Sociology at Adarsh Krishan Mahavidyaly, Shikohabad.
The facts of the case reveals that the petitioner was appointed on temporary basis for a fixed period as Lecturer, Sociology by order dated 06.01.2009 under the Self-Financing Scheme. The term of the said contractual appointment of the petitioner has already expired. A Lecturer in Sociology is already working in the Self- Financing Scheme therefore petitioner wants she should also be allowed to continue working.
The representation of the petitioner in this regard has been rejected as the term of contract of the petitioner has ended.
The petitioner can assail the correctness of the above order of the Vice-Chancellor by means of a representation under Section 68 of the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973 before the Chancellor.
In view of the statutory remedy so available to the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed.
