Heard Sri Pramod Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ram Gopal Tripathi, learned counsel for respondent no. 3.
Issue notice to the respondents no. 2, 4 and 5 by registered post. Steps be taken within ten days which shall be returnable at an early date.
By order 12.05.2007 passed by the Vice-Chancellor of the Allahabad University the age of superannuation of lecturers and professors has been enhanced from 60 to 65 years.The Executive Council of the University vide its resolution no. 06/04 dated 13.09.2008 approved the order of the Vice- Chancellor dated 12.05.2007.
Until further orders of this Court the respondents are directed not to retire the petitioner on 30.06.2010 and continue him in service and pay his salary month to month till the petitioner attains the age of 65 years.
