THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In the instant petition, petitioner has sought for quashing the order dated 22.11.2017 (Annexure- F) by which the calendar of dates have been notified indicating the age of retirement at 60 years. Petitioner is continued in service by virtue of the interim order dated 26.04.2018.
2. In identical matters, this Court in W.P.Nos.441-443 of 2017 allowed the petitions on 20.12.2108, wherein it is held that petitioners therein are entitled to retire at the age of 62 years.
3. Respondents herein have not disputed that the present writ petitions are identical to that of Professor K. Lakshmanappa. Insofar as petitioner is concerned Annexure-F dated 22.11.2017 is set aside. In terms of identical case stated supra, petitioner is entitled to continue in service till he attains the age of 62 years.
With the above observation petition stands disposed off.
