This Criminal Petition is filed to quash FIR in Crime No.122 of 2012 of Gandepalli Police Station, East Godavari district, for alleged offence under section 3 (1) (x) of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribes [Prevention of Atrocities] Act, 1989.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner is sole accused in the above referred crime.
Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that police after completion of investigation referred the case as ‘false’ as per final report dated 02/04/2013.
4. Considering the submissions of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, as infructuous, as police referred the case as ‘false’.
14. As a sequel, miscellaneous petition if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
