JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3. 2. The petitioners have filed the above writ petition, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to furnish the copy of the complaint dated 15.11.2016 and the copy of the documents relied on by the second respondent to the petitioners with regard to the request made by the second respondent for cancellation of patta in respect of Survey Nos.16/13 and 76/3.

It is the case of the petitioners that the proceedings are pending before the first respondent with regard to the cancellation of patta in respect of Survey Nos.16/13 and 76/3 and the petitioners have requested the first respondent to furnish the copy of the complaint dated 15.11.2016 and copy of the documents relied on by the second respondent. However, the first respondent has not furnish the same yet.
4. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 3, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to furnish the copies of the documents and complaint to the petitioners, within a time frame.
5. Since, the proceedings are pending before the first respondent for the cancellation of patta, the petitioners are entitled to know the contends of the complaint dated 15.11.2016 and also the documents relied on by the second respondent before the first respondent.
6. In these circumstances, I direct the first respondent to furnish the copy of the complaint dated 15.11.2016 and also the copies of the documents relied on by the second respondent to the petitioners within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall not pass any order till, the copies are furnish to the petitioners.
With this observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is also closed.
