Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Narendra Pratap Singh for respondent University and Sri Rahul Jain for respondent no. 3.
An objection raised on behalf of the respondents that the petitioner has a statutory alternative remedy of approaching the Chancellor under Section 68 of the U.P. State Universities Act, 1973 is liable to be sustained, in the facts and circumstances of the present case.
Learned counsel for the petitioner also comes up with a prayer to withdraw this petition with liberty to approach the Chancellor in terms of Section 68 of the Act.
Prayer made is allowed.
Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
