JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 39
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 16404 of 2018 Petitioner :- Dr. Jhuma Datta Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Hari Om Ojha,Rishi Kant Rai Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Rohit Pandey
Hon'ble B. Amit Sthalekar,J. Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J.
Heard Shri Rishi Kant Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel for the respondent no. 1 and Shri Rohit Pandey, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2, 3 and 4.
The sole prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing of the writ petition is that petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2017 pending before the respondent University, whereby she has claimed regular pay scale from the date of her appointment on 04.09.2004, be decided.
Learned counsel for the respondent University states that the University shall take a decision within the time granted by this Court.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending.
We, therefore, direct that in case the petitioner files a copy of that representation along with a certified copy of this order passed today before the Vice Chancellor of the University within a period of fifteen days from today, the Vice Chancellor will take a decision on the representation within one month thereafter.
With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
