Sri Abhishek Kumar Rai files Vakalatnama of Sri Chandan Sharma on behalf of the respondents no.2 to 5 and Sri Gyanendra Kumar Dwivedi files his Vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent no.1. Both the Vakalatnama are taken on record.
The grievance of the petitioner is that his retiral dues of pension, gratuity, family pension etc. have not been paid till date although he retired from service on 02.07.2015. According to the petitioner a notice was issued to him on 01.08.2015 (Annexure-8 to the writ petition) requiring him to provide the documents namely; 1. No Dues Certificate, 2. Pension Papers, 3.PAN Number, 4. SBI Joint Account Number, 5. Photo with wife (3 copies).
According to the petitioner these documents have been provided by him through covering letter dated 12.05.2017 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition).
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with a direction to the respondent no.5, Finance Officer, University of Allahabad to examine the matter and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received in his office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
