ORDER: (per the Hon’ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar)
This Public Interest Litigation was filed assailing G.O.Ms.No.3 dated 17.06.2014 issued by the State of Telangana on various grounds.
By way of the impugned G.O., the State of Telangana issued a preliminary notification seeking to amend the Telangana Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
In the counter-affidavit filed by the Secretary to the Government, Transport Roads and Buildings Department, State of Telangana, it is stated that pursuant to the impugned G.O., objections were received, including the objections filed by the petitioner herein, and that the said objections would be considered before a final notification is issued.
Taking note of the afore-stated statement, this Public Interest Litigation is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to seek legal redressal in accordance with law in the event he has a grievance after issuance of the final notification.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of the afore-stated order. No costs.
