THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, SATYANARAYANA J, MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
O R D E R On 19.11.2019, this Court secured the presence of Secretary, DPAR, to enquire as to why the persons, who are disturbed when someone else is transferred to their place are not shown the new place of posting and why they are kept waiting without showing postings to them. On that day, this Court directed the Secretary, DPAR, to ensure that no person should be kept waiting for posting whenever transfer is effected. It is in this background, it is stated that the petitioner herein is given posting as Secretary, Karnataka Housing Board, Bengaluru and the said order is passed on 19.11.2019. However, it is stated that till today, said Officer has not reported to duty. It is rather surprising that when the petitioner is agitating that he is not shown posting for more than one month, he has not reported in the place of posting even after 15 days after posting is shown to him. However, at this juncture, learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be reporting to duty within 24 hours. His submission is placed on record.
2. In that view of the matter, this Court finds nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
