Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
By way of the instant application, the applicant has prayed for a direction to the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Meerut, to decide the Complaint Case No.2516 of 2014 Dr. Dinesh Vs. Sayara Khan, under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Police Station Daurala, District Meerut expeditiously.
In this case, the applicant happens to be complainant and he wants expeditious disposal of the aforesaid case.
I have considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant and perused the record.
Obviously, the court below is under obligation to expedite the proceeding adhering to the provision of Section 309 Cr.P.C. and decide the case within the stipulated time as mandated under the special Act. Therefore, no order need be passed by this Court.
Consequently, this application is disposed of.
