Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Heard Sri Mukesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Chief Standing Counsel-II appearing for the State of U.P.
The petitioner was appointed by order dated 10.01.2015 as Part- Time Coordinator, Study Centre, Udai Pratap PG College, Varanasi. One of the terms of aforesaid appointment was that the assignment given to the petitioner is till 31.12.2015 and that the term can be abridged after giving a month's notice or honorarium in lieu thereof. The aforesaid term of the petitioner had come to an end on 31.12.2015. The term of assignment was extended but the extended period had also expired.
Now by the impugned letter dated 13.04.2017, the respondent no.6 has been appointed as Part-Time Coordinator upto 31.12.2017. The said term has also expired.
The petitioner was not holding any substantive post and as such had no right to continue after expiry of term of appointment. Moreover, the petitioner cannot be a person aggrieved by the appointment of respondent no.6 that too after his term has expired.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, we find no substance in the petition and the same is dismissed.
