The petitioner challenges an order passed by the Secretary, Cochin Corporation. The matter is relating to property tax. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner was not heard, this court is of the view that Ext.P6 impugned order shall be treated as a provisional order. The petitioner shall raise objection to Ext.P6 within one month. Thereafter, the Secretary of the Corporation shall, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass final orders within a further period of two months. Till final orders are passed, no action shall be taken in this matter based on Ext.P6.
The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
