This Criminal Petition is filed to quash proceedings in CC.No. 330 of 2012 for alleged offences under section 504 and 506 of IPC.
2. Heard both sides.
3. On a perusal of material papers and on considering the submissions of both parties, instead of deciding the matter on merits, I feel that trial court be directed to dispose of CC.No.
330 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by dispensing with the presence of petitioner for each and every adjournment. However, petitioner shall appear as and when the court below feels that his physical presence is necessary for any specific purpose. The trial court shall consider the objections of petitioner, without being influenced by disposal of this criminal petition.
4. With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of accordingly.
5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petition if any, pending shall stand closed.
