THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.Hanumanthappa B.Haravigowder, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri.G.Veerendra Babu, learned counsel for the respondent No.3.
Sri.K.V.Aravind, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4.
2. The petition is admitted for hearing. With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to the respondent No.4 to accept the online application of the petitioner requesting for new PAN card application bearing No.715507687 in the light of new scheme has been introduced by the Income Tax Department, Government of India vide Annexure-C.
4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and in view of the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation with regard to his grievance. Needless to state that if such a representation is made, the competent authority shall decide the same within four months from the date of receipt of such representation by a speaking order in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
