The grievance of the petitioner is that the application for transfer of the petitioner's father fire arm license in favour of petitioner on the ground of succession is pending consideration since December, 2016 before respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Farrukhabad.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Farrukhabad to endeavour of decide the application of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order before him.
