1. Petitioner appeared in person and her only grievance is that she has made reference under Section 68 of U.P. State Universities Act, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as “Act, 1973”) to Chancellor, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly vide reference dated 16.012.2016 and the same has been registered as Reference No. 20 of 2017 but almost one and half year has passed and the same has not been decided so far.
2. Learned counsel appearing for Chancellor, at the outset, stated that if aforesaid reference is still pending the same shall be decided expeditiously.
3. In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to Chancellor, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly to consider and decide petitioner's Reference No. 20 of 2017 by a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
