Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition has been preferred alleging that although the petitioner and the fourth respondent were employed in identical capacity on contractual basis, the fourth respondent has been paid emoluments in excess of that paid to the petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel points out that there is no material on record to establish that the petitioner was paid any amount lesser than that which was guaranteed under the contract.
Since disputed questions of fact are raised, the ends of justice would merit this petition being disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation, which the petitioner proposes to make within a period of two weeks from today. In case the representation is so filed, the said respondent shall duly evaluate the claim of the petitioner and dispose it of in accordance with law and with expedition.
The writ petition stands disposed of in light of the observation noted above.
