Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
The present petition has been filed for direction upon the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Varanasi to decide Divorce Suit No.1071 of 2012 (Dr. Amar Bahadur Singh Vs. Dr. Vandana Singh) within stipulated period.
From the order-sheet of the case it appears that the matter had proceeded ex-parte against the defendant and thereafter a date was fixed for delivery of ex-parte judgement. On the date so fixed, the defendant had appeared in the proceeding and applied for recall of the order upon which the court fixed a date for hearing. Under the circumstances, no specific direction need be issued, at this stage. It is expected that the court concerned shall proceed with the matter expeditiously, in accordance with law, without entertaining unnecessary adjournments from the parties.
With the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed off.
