This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram to dispose off the H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2013 within a stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is the husband and respondent is the wife. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2013 for dissolving the marriage between petitioner and respondent conducted on 09.06.1993 on the ground of cruelty and desertion.
3. In the H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2013, the respondent filed counter statement on 24.09.2014 and H.M.O.P was posted for enquiry. The petitioner filed proof affidavit on 19.11.2015 and marked the documents and thereafter for cross examination of petitioner from 20.01.2016 till date the matter is pending, but the respondent did not cross examine the petitioner and the H.M.O.P is pending without any progress. In this circumstance, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition for speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2013.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition and since the H.M.O.P. is pending from 2013, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram to dispose H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2013 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
