JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved by Ext.P1 order passed by the first appellate authority directing payment of 35% of the disputed amounts within three weeks from the date of the order. The petitioner's contention is that the petitioner approached the authority on the last date for remittance of the amounts and the same was refused. If that be so, the petitioner ought to have moved the first appellate authority or this Court for extension of time and condonation for delay in remittance. Nothing was done and now, the petitioner was aggrieved by Ext.P2 demand notice issued under the Revenue Recovery Act, for realisation of the entire demand, which was issued even prior to Ext.P1. WPC No.16018/2014 ::2::
2. In such circumstance, if the petitioner deposits 40% of the amounts and furnishing adequate security for the balance amount, within one week from today, the stay shall remain in force until the disposal of the appeal.
Writ petition disposed of.
