The prayer, sought for, in the Writ Petition is for renewal of the lease in respect of the Shops, which were in occupation of the petitioners from the year 2004-2005, onwards. The Writ Petition is of the year, 2004, and by this time, the lease period itself would have been expired, as 12 years have been lapsed. Therefore, no orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition, as nothing survives for any adjudication in it. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
