This is an application seeking extension of time allowed by this Court vide order dated 25.5.2017 to deposit a sum of Rs.35 lacs as a pre-condition of staying the award.
Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the order was communicated only in third week of June, 2017 and thereafter the process for sanction was initiated and by that time, time allowed by the Court to deposit the amount expired.
Cause shown in the affidavit filed in support of the extension application is found to be sufficient.
Application stands allowed.
Order dated 25.5.2017 is modified to the extant that the appellant shall deposit a sum of Rs.35 lacs with the Tribunal within a period of two weeks from today. Rest of the order shall remain unaffected.
