The petitioner has filed this petition aggrieved by the rejection of an application for licence submitted by him for the purpose of conducting a quarry. 2. According to the learned Senior counsel Sri.
Ranjith Thampan who appears for the petitioner, the rejection is made on the ground that, the petitioner had not obtained Environmental Clearance Certificate from the Environmental Impact Assessment Authority and a Certificate from the District Medical Officer.
3. According to the learned counsel for the Panchayath, the petitioner's application was not in the proper form. Additional respondents, 2 to 6 who have got themselves impleaded, oppose the prayers in this writ petition.
4. Heard. Since it is contended that, the petitioner's application was not in the proper form and was not accompanied by all the required documents, it is only appropriate that the petitioner submits a fresh W.P.C. No.14785 of 2014 2 application. If a fresh application is submitted, the counsel for the 1st respondent assures that the same would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application for licence in the proper form supported by all the necessary documents. If such an application is submitted within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, the same shall be considered after hearing the petitioner as well as respondents 2 to 6. Appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of one month of the date of receipt of such application.
