Heard Shri K. Shahi, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned standing counsel for the respondents no. 1 to 3.
The petitioners in the writ petition are seeking a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the papers submitted by the respondent no. 4-Principal, Manas Inter College, Fatehpur District Deoria. The petitioners are seeking appointment on a Class IV post. According to them for appointment on Class IV post, permission was granted by the District Inspector of Schools on 8.6.2009, Annexure-2 to the writ petition, in pursuance of which the papers have been forwarded by the Principal, Manas Inter College, Fatehpur, Deoria to the District Inspector of Schools on 4.10.2010, Annexure-4 to the writ petition, which finds mention of the names of the petitioners also as candidate for selection.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3-District Inspector of Schools, Deoria to take a decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioners on merit.
