Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus of any other writ of direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce before this Court the detenue, the petitioner's wife Nithya Shree, who is illegally detained against her will by the first respondent and set her liberty.

NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner has come up with this present petition alleging that one Mrs.Nithya Shree, whom, according to the petitioner, is his wife and she has been found missing.

Today, when the matter has been taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the statement of the petitioner, the father of the girl and the connected records pertaining to the enquiry held in the Police Station. During the enquiry, the petitioner has stated that he would not disturb the detenue and the marriage between the petitioner and the detenue has also not been admitted.
3. In view of the above, the relief, sought for by the petitioner, cannot be granted. Hence the habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
