JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Rajesh Chandra,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA for the State.
This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioners for quashing of the first information report dated 16.06.2010 registered at case crime no. 93 of 2010 under section 308, 452, 323, 506 IPC, P.S. Salempur District Bulandshahar.
The perusal of First Information Report discloses commission of cognizable offence. Hence there is no reason to quash the same. Prayer for quashing the FIR is rejected.
However, in the facts of this case since marriage is to take place in near future, we direct that the petitioners may surrender and apply for bail within a period of two weeks from today before the court below in the aforesaid case. Their bail application shall be considered and disposed of by the court below as early as possible in accordance with law. For a period of two weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against them.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
Copy of the order be issued today.
