1. Petitioners' vehicle has been allegedly involved in transporting red earth. Petitioners submit that they are prepared to compound the offence and have filed Ext.P5 application before the second respondent.
2. There will be a direction to the second respondent to release the vehicle to the petitioners on each of the petitioners paying an amount of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only). On payment of the amount as above and on compounding the offence, the officer concerned shall report the matter to the Magistrate concerned.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
