This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer that the election petition being Election Petition No.3601/2021 (Computerized Case No.T-202102030403601) (Dinesh Kumar Rakesh vs. Fulwati Devi & Ors.) under section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 pending in the Court of Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Handia, District Prayagraj be decided expeditiously.
The order-sheet does not indicate that any order has been passed by which the Tribunal has considered notice on the opposite parties as sufficient.
Learned Standing Counsel, however, states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid election petition.
It is, therefore, directed that the Election Petition No.3601/2021 (Computerized Case No.T-202102030403601) (Dinesh Kumar Rakesh vs. Fulwati Devi & Ors.) be decided within a period of six months from the date of service of notice upon the opposite parties. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
