Heard applicants' counsel and learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the perused.
This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking the direction to conclude the trial in C.N.R. No. UPJP 040122332016, arising out of Case Crime No. 812 of 2015, under Sections 323, 504, 325 I.P.C., P.S. Meerganj, District Jaunpur, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate-II, Jaunpur within a stipulated period.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is the complainant and he has lodged the first information report against the accused persons in which cognizance has been taken in the year 2015. The proceedings against the accused is moving at a snail's pace and only three witnesses have been examined during trial.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the lower court concerned is directed to adopt all stern action for securing attendance of the witnesses and expedite the aforesaid trial and conclude the same expeditiously strictly in accordance with law, as early as possible.
With the aforesaid observations, the application is finally disposed of.
