Heard Sri Ashok Khare, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner is a Consolidation Officer, by the impugned order dated 06th March, 2018 he has been punished and has been reverted back to the post of Assistant Consolidation Officer, the above order has been passed on the basis of the disciplinary enquiry.
The argument is that the inquriy report is based upon the statement of two witnesses which were not supplied to the petitioner. The petitioner against the aforesaid order of punishment has a remedy of departmental appeal.
In view of the statutory remedy of appeal so available to the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. The petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy and in case petitioner file any appeal, the same shall be considered most expeditiously.
The writ petition is dismissed.
