JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Rajeev Singh,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri H.P. Srivastava, learned counsel for the State as well as Shri Zulfikar Naqvi, Advocate holding brief of Shri Rohid Tripathi, who has put in appearance on behalf of opposite party no.2.
The State Election Commission, U.P. is in the midst of the process for holding Panchayat Elections. Any grievance for the change of police force as raised in the present writ petition is misplaced. Insofar as the prayer for holding fair and free election is concerned, the State Election Commission is expected to ensure the same in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
