The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the 2nd respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage No.KL-11-S-2114 on the route Omassery-Koduvally-Thamarassery, by considering Ext.P4, pending renewal application. 2. If no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue a temporary permit of four months duration, if there is no other legal impediment, within three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P4, pending renewal application. Needless to say, such WP(C).33633/14 2 issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
